Peoples Bank wants to make sure your accounts are secure. Our Fraud Center is an alert system to notify you of potential fraud.
How it works:
- Email - When possible fraud is detected, an email will be sent to the email address we have on file. The email will come from Jack Henry Card Processing Solutions Fraud Center and will list recent charges. You can confirm or deny the charges by any of the following ways: through a link in the email, by calling Peoples Bank, or by calling the number listed in the email.
- Text Alert – If you do not respond to the email, you will then receive an automatic text alert, with the option for you to reply with “Fraud” or “No Fraud”. The text will come from 32874.
- Phone Call – If you do not respond to the email or text alerts, you will then receive an automated phone call to confirm or deny fraud.
- Always remember: Our Fraud Department will never ask for your PIN, account number, or social security number.
