1. Business Checking Account holders

If you already have a business account with us, you can enroll directly through your Peoples Bank Mobile Banking app.
 

2. New Users

Don’t have a business account or not sure? We can walk you through everything! Just contact your local Peoples Bank location
 
 
Peoples Bank does not charge any fees to use Tap2Local. All payment processing fees are set by Jack Henry when you enroll.
Note: Approximately 65-70% of businesses will receive instant approval and can start taking payments immediately.

 

Benefits of Tap2Local™

Accept Payments

Once enrolled, our mobile banking app transforms your smartphone into a contactless Point-of-Sale (POS) device, allowing you to accept payments from debit cards, credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and more. You can accept a card-present payment through Tap to Pay, an online or remote payment through a payment link, or accept a payment using a QR code!

Merchant Overview

The merchant overview feature provides a real-time snapshot of your business activity and allows you to review transactions.

Product Catalog

Product Catalog allows merchants to create, manage, and sell their inventory directly within Tap2Local. Merchants will be able to build out their catalog by adding individual products with key details such as a name, base price, description, and category. This moves the app from a simple keypad-entry terminal to a more robust point-of-sale solution.

This feature is seamlessly integrated into the existing payment flow. Merchants will be able to select products and add them directly into the cart, enabling merchants to easily mix pre-defined products and custom amounts in a single, transparent transaction.

In the event that a refund is necessary, Tap2Local gives you the option to process a partial or full refund.

Disputes
