Remodeling Project Also Planned for Peoples Bank

Due to continued growth, Peoples Insurance and Peoples Bank Wealth Management Group are expanding their services to a new building that will be constructed just east of Peoples Bank in Rock Valley.
The 7,670 square foot one-story building will house multiple insurance and wealth management offices. Other highlights of the building include workspaces and offices for Peoples Bank Digital Banking and IT staff, as well as a conference room and future offices.
Following the merger of Peoples Insurance and Siouxland Insurance earlier this year, this new building is designed to support continued growth by bringing all Rock Valley insurance agents and staff together under one roof.
“This new space reflects our commitment to growth, innovation, and deeper community connections,” says Peoples Insurance Manager Scott Mantel. “By bringing everyone together, we’re building a stronger foundation for the future of Peoples, Rock Valley, and our surrounding communities.”
While centralized out of Peoples Bank in Sioux Center, the new building will also enable Peoples Bank Wealth Management Group to have a permanent presence in Rock Valley. The trust and investment department recently surpassed $1 billion in assets.
The new building project is projected to be completed sometime in the third quarter of 2026.
After the new building is completed, Peoples Bank will undergo some remodeling on the west side of the building. The remodeling project will create four offices and an expanded work area. It will also include a new conference room, kitchenette, and restrooms. There will also be some work done on the second level to expand office space.
Completion of the remodeling project is targeted for the end of 2026.
