Peoples Bank Partnering with Rising Arrows
Peoples Bank in Sioux Center is excited to partner with Rising Arrows for the 5th annual Christmas For A Cause at Heritage Village in Sioux Center.
The event, which is free and open to the public, will feature festive walk-through Christmas light displays throughout Heritage Village, creating a fun Christmas experience for all ages. In addition to the lights, attendees will have the opportunity to support Rising Arrows.
Rising Arrows is a non-profit ministry that originated at New Life Church in response to a growing community need for childcare, adequate food, and additional learning during the summer months. The program also provides a high-quality summer learning experience that is safe, fun, and guides kids to recognize the asset they are to their community. Rising Arrows started with 23 kids in the summer of 2021. Now, Rising Arrows partners with Kinsey Elementary School and has grown to 140 kids.
The Rising Arrows program is 9 weeks, 3 days a week in the summer months. Breakfast, lunch, and a snack are provided daily. Days consist of optional Bible lessons, physical activities, crafts, and life skills. They also provide math and reading lessons daily to further the kids’ academics. On Fridays, kids get to experience Sioux Center and amenities the city has to offer.
"We are grateful to have been selected by Peoples Bank of Sioux Center to be this year's Christmas For A Cause partner!” says Rising Arrows Founder Sam Mosher. “We are so thankful for the opportunity to be at Christmas For A Cause, to meet people, and share a little bit more about Rising Arrows with them as they enjoy the Christmas season!”
Funding for Rising Arrows is provided through the blessings and generosity of donors. Learn more about Rising Arrows at nlrchurch.org/rising-arrows.
