Peoples Bank's Capture The Coin is back August 10-14, 2026!
It's our 10th year of Capture the Coin, and we're celebrating BIG! 10 YEARS, 10 PRIZES!
Join us at Peoples Bank in Sioux Center for free ice cream on Friday, August 14 from 1:00-3:00 PM.
Rules & How To Enter
From August 10-14, 2026, a Peoples Bank wooden coin will be hidden once a day somewhere in Sioux Center, Iowa.
Coin Prizes
We will post four to six clues on Facebook, Instagram, and X. The first person/people to find the coin need to take it directly to Peoples Bank in Sioux Center (1701 S. Main Ave.) to redeem it for that day's prize! All clues will be posted regardless if the winner claims the prize before they are all released. We will post a hint in our winner post as to when the first clue will post the following day. (*Monday's first time clue hint will be posted Monday morning, August 10.)
QR Code Prizes
A QR Code will be located at the coin location. When you scan the QR Code and enter your registration information, you will be entered for that day's QR Code prize! QR Code winners will be randomly drawn on Friday, August 14.
NO PURCHASE, PAYMENT, DONATION, OR ACCOUNT REQUIRED TO PARTICIPATE OR WIN. Begins 8/10/26. Ends 8/14/26. LIMIT ONE PRIZE PER HOUSEHOLD THROUGHOUT THE DURATION OF THE CAPTURE THE COIN CONTEST. Odds of winning depend on number of participants and locating the coin. Kids under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult to claim prize.

Contest Period
The Contest begins on August 10, 2026, and ends August 14, 2026. Sponsor reserves the right to extend or shorten the contest at their sole discretion.
Eligibility
The Contest is open to legal U.S. residents, customers and non-customers who have Internet access and a valid e-mail account prior to the beginning of the Contest Period. Sponsor has the right to verify the eligibility of each entrant. Employees of Peoples Bank, Peoples Bank Wealth Management Group and Peoples Insurance and anyone residing in their immediate household are not eligible to participate. Limit one prize per household throughout the duration of the Capture the Coin contest.
Winners
The eligible first person/group to find the coin hidden in Sioux Center will need to take it directly to Peoples Bank in Sioux Center (1701 S. Main Ave.) to redeem it for that day's prize! Prize will be awarded at that time.

Incidental expenses and all other costs and expenses which are not specifically listed as part of a prize in these Official Rules and which may be associated with the award, acceptance, receipt and use of all or any portion of the awarded prize are solely the responsibility of the respective prize winner.
