Kroeze Graduates from 2026 Leadership Sioux Center

Kolin Kroeze has completed the Leadership Sioux Center as a member of the 2026 cohort! A graduation ceremony was held on Wednesday, May 13 at Terrace View Event Center where the keynote speaker was Sioux Falls Mayor Paul TenHaken.
Leadership Sioux Center is a premier leadership development program designed for individuals who live or work in the Sioux Center area and have a strong interest in their community, its leaders, and opportunities for civic engagement.
"Leadership Sioux Center has helped challenge and shape how I want to be as a leader," says Kroeze. "It has also shown me the importance of collaboration within all aspects of a community."
Since its launch in 2013, the program has inspired, connected, and informed emerging and established leaders through meaningful experiences. Participants engage in enriching discussions, behind-the-scenes tours, and hands-on community involvement, building lasting relationships while gaining a deeper understanding of Sioux Center.
Over the course of eight months, up to 20 participants develop a strong network, explore key community issues, and enhance leadership skills applicable to both their professional roles and community service. Sessions are held throughout the community, using Sioux Center itself as a dynamic classroom.
Through Leadership Sioux Center, participants are empowered to contribute to and shape the future of the community.
Kroeze is a Mortgage Loan Originator at Peoples Bank in Sioux Center and has been with the bank for three years.
